About KV I.M.A, Dehradun This K.V I.M.A started in Aug 1985 to cater to the educational needs of wards of Defense Personnel with Mr. Harish Chandra Aggarwal as I/C Principal It also started with classes I to V. There was no proper building to it started in the barracks of the science block of Indian Military Academy .It started with filling and completion of the admission found. There were 8-9 staff members and with approx 500 students. The important milestone was the strength of teachers & students. In 1986 class VI was started. It was one section school then it gradually increased its sections from one section to two section and then was once a time when from the year 1995 to 2002 when it was a four section school. At present then are 3 sections in classes VI, VII, and VIII in classes IX and X there are four sections.
